October 2009- Okay, it's been 4 weeks and baby Finn is settling in nicely. Big brother Liam has been such a great big brother and loves to help out when needed. Here are a few snaps around the house and a trip to Washington Farms in Watkinsville, Georgia.
October 2009- Well, it's been a while since I updated the website, it's been pretty busy lately. Oh yeah, WE HAD A BABY BOY! Greetings baby Finn.
February 1, 2009 - With the unseasonably warm February, you can catch us at the park! Liam is loving the new Duncan Creek Park at Hamilton Mill. Plenty of things to run-around, climb-on, and swing with! Here are a few shots of Liam with Nanna and Pop-Pop Barkley.
Merry Christmas 2008 Liam had a great Christmas. He was very excited about his new Thomas the Train set and airplanes that Santa left him and later celebrating with Nanna, Pop-pop and friends.
November 2008 - Happy Birthday Liam! 2 years old and growing... Happy birthday little buddy! Liam had a great birthday party and enjoyed the company of our neighbors in the hood. Everyday Liam's vocabulary grows as well as his independence. About a week ago he informed us that he doesn't need his booster seat at dinner. Wow how time flies by. Here are a few snaps from his party.
October 2008 - Halloween and Yellow River Game Ranch Here are a few shots from our visit to the Yellow River Game Ranch and Halloween. It's pretty funny seeing as I grew up less than a mile away from the Game Ranch and never thought too much of it. As I mentioned before, Liam has really taken a lot of interest in animals so our visit to the Game Ranch was awesome. As soon as we entered the park we were ambushed by free roaming deer, squirrels, chipmunks, goats, etc. Liam was a little freaked-out at first but eventually warmed-up to the onslaught of misfit beggar livestock (I'm talking to you poopie pigmy goat).
September - Gwinnett County Fair All about animals. Liam is really fascinated by animals lately. We figured he would have a ball at the fair and see some barnyard animals and such.
August 2008 - At the beach... Last week we were at Panama City Beach, Florida and we really had a great time. Liam is now a full-fledged pool wader! About half-way through our beach trip, Liam was fussing about me always holding on to him in the pool. So like any other caring father, I let go and and let him wade around on his own. He still wears his floaty-jacket, but he can sure scoot around the pool! Here are a few snaps I took from our beach trip.
August 2008 - Any Given Saturday (Play Time!) Liam is growing up
before our very eyes. More and more everyday his vocabulary is
growing, saying things like "please" and "thank-you". Liam is starting
to identify colors and shapes as well as learning to count. Yeppers, time is flying by. Thankfully, Liam is still very interested
in books and like all boys, he is very curious and likes to climb and
explore.
